infra fürth: IVU supplies IT solutions for efficient bus service

Berlin, 17 December 2024 | Digital, clear, reliable - infra fürth verkehr gmbh will soon be using the integrated IT solutions for control centre and disruption management from IVU Traffic Technologies AG to ensure smooth bus service in Fürth, Franconia. The contract also includes equipping the vehicles with intelligent hardware from the Berlin-based software company.

infra fürth verkehr gmbh operates a network of 11 bus routes during the day and 3 routes at night in the second largest city in Franconia with over 130,000 inhabitants - in some cases extending as far as neighbouring Nuremberg and Erlangen. The transport company will soon be using IVU.fleet and IVU.incident, IVU's integrated IT solutions for control centre and incident management. The local transport company also uses IVU products in its buses - in future, IVU.gateway and modern industrial tablets will ensure perfect interaction between hardware and software. Included in the contract is the installation of a digital voice radio (Tetra radio system) in cooperation with Motorola Solutions.

The system components of the Tetra radio system are provided by Motorola Solutions. "Together with IVU, we will support infra fürth on its way to becoming a digital and efficient bus company."
