"OPENER next"– Next stop: Accessibility

Accessible mobility for Germany – the TU Chemnitz is developing an app in the "OPENER next" research project to register stop accessibility at bus stops in a standardised way. Thanks to the interfaces developed by IVU, the data recorded by the app can be transferred to the integration solution IVU.pool and then be provided for the HAFAS information system of the project partner NASA GmbH. "OPENER next" has now been awarded the German Mobility Award 2022 in the category "Data and Innovation". The research project is being funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure as part of the mFUND innovation initiative with a total of over 1.7 million euros. #mobility #publictransport
